A Business Planning session will require you to take time out from the day to day activities in your business to focus on your business. We work together with you to review your past performance and clarify your future direction. With our guidance you will set solid and realistic business goals and define strategies for achievement of those goals. At the end of the session you will have a one page Business Plan that will act as a guide map to ensure you are on course for success.

What Is Involved In A Business Planning Session?
You attend a four hour planning session facilitated by your MBP Business Advisor.
The following key issues will be covered:
- Discussing and setting business goals for the next 12 months,
- Discussing and setting personal goals for the next 12 months (so your business works for you, not just you for the business),
- Discussing and agreeing on an action plan with the necessary strategies to support achievement of the identified goals,
- Identification of Gross Revenue Targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs),
- Identification of opportunities and vulnerabilities in your business that need to be managed,
- Establishment of a 90 day Action Plan to address immediate critical issues.
We will provide you with pre-work, which you will need to complete prior to the Business Planning Session to ensure you identify any issues that need to be discussed and can get the most from the planning session. Your Business Advisor will review your pre-work and prepare any additional information or resources required to assist your planning prior to the session.
When Should I Have A Business Planning Session?
Any time is a good time to make a Business Plan if you don’t have one. However, developing and updating plans is most relevant at the start or in the lead up to the start of a new financial year.
If you are contemplating a significant change in an existing business or entering a new business venture, a Business Plan is crucial. You will also be required to have a well thought-out Business Plan to support and finance applications if your are borrowing to support the changes or new venture. The clearer your business plan, the more confident you can be about it. The more confident you are about your businesses potential in the months ahead, the better you can convey that confidence to any potential lender.
